Hi! I'm Mirko. I help you to rethink your process.

A year ago, I stopped working... 🙅‍♂️

Hi Reader,

It's true: It really feels like I stopped working a year ago because since then I've only been doing what I truly love.

Exactly one year ago my new life began. I left the Lufthansa Group to go all in with New Process. 🚀

A lot has happened since then: I've had the opportunity to meet many exciting people like you, develop ideas on how to inspire people for processes, and advise great companies on the introduction of human-centric BPM.

The launch of the New Process Podcast was another highlight of the past year, and today I'll tell you what else is in the pipeline for 2023.

But before that, I'd like to draw your attention to the latest episode of the New Process Podcast, in which I continue my search for a human-centric BPM tool by talking to Marc Stromberg from GBTEC about BIC.

I've known Marc for many years and have had a look onto BIC from time to time, but I've never gotten as deep into the tool as I did in the podcast. Marc gives many interesting insights and he points out the importance of rethinking processes beyond process mapping and focusing on the whole business process management system, including change management and communication.

He also shares the trends he sees in the BPM tool market, such as the increasing importance of the operational part of BPM, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, along with the need for more flexible and user-friendly tools.

Enjoy the full interview with Marc on your favorite podcast platform:

My search for a human-centric BPM tool will continue in the coming weeks.... And more interviews with experts from other disciplines will follow to find out how their expertise can be applied to processes in order to rethink processes.

But, as promised, I have more topics on the list for 2023 besides finding a tool:

  • New Process Booster:
A 60 minutes online training for Process Owners to learn how to inspire people for your process. Explore the New Process basics, develop your process community, define the purpose of your process, learn how to leverage content creation to inspire your community and way more...
  • New Process Game:
A role play to inspire and enable people for processes. Experience to work based on a simple process model, think in processes and roles, scale innovations with a standardized process and get to know the different process management roles and their responsibilities.
  • New Process Framework Masterclass:
A guided journey with peers from other organizations to implement a human-centric BPM framework. Explore the New Process principles, define the purpose of your BPM framework, enable and inspire management and employees for processes, and learn how to implement and operate a human-centric Process of Process Management.
  • New Process Conference:
A New Process experience with inspiring talks by cross-method experts, BPM tool vendors pitching their latest innovations, BPM enthusiasts from other industries to share ideas, a live podcast recording, and a big party, delicious food & lots of fun.

I'm curious to learn which of the topics interests you the most. Feel free to tell me by a short reply to this mail naming the topic. - And if all of this is not interesting for you, just send me back a "Boring" by mail. 😉

Thank you very much for reading.

Have a great day! 🚀
Mirko

Hi Reader, Can you remember the last time you started a new project, turned a bright idea into reality or maybe even started your own business? If you're nodding yes, then you know the thrill of starting something new - and the mountain of to-do's that comes with it. One of the greatest challenges I've faced is the art of starting simple and progressing incrementally - the philosophy of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). It still happens to me today that in my burst of motivation I want to do...

Hi Reader, Can you believe it's already November? Time does fly! 😳 I'd like to ask for a small favor that could make a big difference: As in the past two years, I've put together a brief survey to identify the BPM topics of 2024, and I'd love for you to participate.Because our community is such an important part of this journey, it is only logical that I collect your current thoughts and concerns:→ to get a better understanding of what BPM topics are important to you.→ to tailor the content...

Hi Reader, Expanding on the last newsletter, I'd like to stress the importance of interacting with other BPM enthusiasts. It's easy to recognize when someone is genuinely enthusiastic and deeply interested in a subject. In my opinion, this enthusiasm is what really drives us forward, especially in the research world. 🚀 Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of having meaningful conversations with a lot of passionate people. These discussions not only lead to fresh ideas and inspiration...
