How Gluu supports you to rethink processes with Søren Pommer from Gluu

Hi Reader,

Have you ever had one of those days where everything seems to go wrong at work? Maybe you were swamped with tasks, dealing with difficult coworkers or clients, or simply feeling unproductive and unmotivated. 🤯

Whatever the reason is, bad work days can be tough and stressful. After coming back from my vacation, and I had a lot to catch up on anyway, I had just such a day and i felt like it all happened at once. After realizing this, I had to take a break for a few minutes, cleared my head and focused on my structure - it really helped me during that day and I got my main tasks done. 👨🏼‍💻

And thats what I love about processes - when having a bad work day, you should be able to trust in a well modeled process. Wether dealing with it as an entrepreneur or within a big company with many employees and colleagues.

However, I had to realize that it is completely normal to have days like this and on these days I’m able to trust in the process, got some of the structured tasks done and than, can concentrate on more individual and creative tasks on better work days again. 🚀

Søren Pommer and I discussed this topic as one of many in the new episode of “New Process Podcast” which is now available to listen to. He talked about how Processes can help by providing a consistent guideline and I had a chance to get a closer look to his tool „Gluu“.

Gluu was launched in 2011 and was created to ‘glue’ work that is broken. With the help of its clear and modern design, Gluu wants to create transparency into processes - so every employee is able to understand it.

I hope you enjoy listening and feel free to give me some feedback, I‘d love to hear how you‘re dealing with bad work days and how processes can help you with it.

For having a better imagination Søren was so kind and filmed a video explaining how Gluu is structured. Check out the new blogpost on NewProcessLab.com.

Thank you very much for reading.

Have a great day! 🚀

Hi Reader, Can you remember the last time you started a new project, turned a bright idea into reality or maybe even started your own business? If you're nodding yes, then you know the thrill of starting something new - and the mountain of to-do's that comes with it. One of the greatest challenges I've faced is the art of starting simple and progressing incrementally - the philosophy of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). It still happens to me today that in my burst of motivation I want to do...

Hi Reader, Can you believe it's already November? Time does fly! 😳 I'd like to ask for a small favor that could make a big difference: As in the past two years, I've put together a brief survey to identify the BPM topics of 2024, and I'd love for you to participate.Because our community is such an important part of this journey, it is only logical that I collect your current thoughts and concerns:→ to get a better understanding of what BPM topics are important to you.→ to tailor the content...

Hi Reader, Expanding on the last newsletter, I'd like to stress the importance of interacting with other BPM enthusiasts. It's easy to recognize when someone is genuinely enthusiastic and deeply interested in a subject. In my opinion, this enthusiasm is what really drives us forward, especially in the research world. 🚀 Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of having meaningful conversations with a lot of passionate people. These discussions not only lead to fresh ideas and inspiration...
